Back to the life with internet

No more hanging out at McDonald’s and feeling uneasy, worrying that the staff might get bored of seeing me every day. At least I do get myself a cup of hot chocolate or a meal everytime I go for the free internet.
Days without internet are actually quite revitalizing. I must admit that I have been seriously addicted to the internet recently, especially when it’s too cold to go outside often. Facing the laptop just made me felt better somehow in these stressful times. But, facing the monitor 16 hours a day often gave me headaches and difficulty concentrating, not to mention increased hair loss!
Anyhow, without the internet I took a walk around the neighbourhood, and also went alone to a nearby town by bus (and got lost). But, I must say that the short trip was inspirational. I enjoyed seeing the life of the elderly and the colourful autumn trees in the surroundings. The people here just seem to have no-worries.
Broadband at the new place was activated yesterday evening, which was pretty fast as I expected to wait more than a week. We got the cheapest package – £7.50 a month for up to 8megs.
Besides, I also signed up for the international call package. £5 every month and I will be able to make unlimited landline calls to 36 countries including Malaysia and Australia. So, the only thing left to do is to get a cheap phone.
