I have just finished reading a book titled ‘The Power of Habit’ three weeks ago. It was a good read. Alex pre-ordered it a month before it was published and finished it in two days after its arrival in April. It took me the next four months after that!
I love to read although I don’t always read and I have a very short attention span. Every time I read, I tell myself to read more often, because it is fun. However, once I put down a book I forget about it, unless if I happen to stop at the story’s climax (but I seldom read fiction nowadays).
Anyway, The Power of Habit is an interesting book. It deciphered the mysteries behind my habit formation and changed my perceptions of the roles habits play in our lives. After all, the saying goes:
“Your beliefs become your thoughts,
Your thoughts become your words,
Your words become your actions,
Your actions become your habits,
Your habits become your values,
Your values become your destiny.”
