London Fashion Weekend

On a chilly Sunday in February, Alex and I attended the London Fashion Weekend. It was not as glamorous as the London Fashion Week, but that still ticked off an item in my London’s bucket list.

The overall experience was OK-ish, but at the same time, I really enjoyed watching so many chic and stylish people. Our tickets included a very short 20 minutes catwalk show and the rest of our time was spent at the shopping booths and the associated sale event! We didn’t take many photos because it was freezing outside and crowded inside.

At the sale, I stumbled upon a Jane Carr silk scarf, normally retailing for £200. It was love at first sight with the intricate patterns. I got it with a great bargain at 85% discount on its original price!

My second purchase was a retro style Paloma Picasso sunglasses. Its hexagonal shape caught my attention. Paloma Picasso is the youngest daughter of Pablo Picasso, the famous cubist painter, and she is famous for her jewellery range at Tiffany’s.

At the LFW, we also bought a clothes steamer! It might sound strange to get an household item from a fashion event but again, the deal was too good to resist!

Alex’s a Vodafone customer, who was one of the event’s sponsors. Vodafone customers all get a free Nail inc nail polish, so that was the best bargain of the day!
